Dual layer tensile architectural PVC fabric
Aluminium extrusion fabric support tubes, curved for Flat Roof and straight for Sloped Roof
Aluminium extrusion with integrated gearing and rubber belt
Remote control operated tubular motor and shaft to drive rubber belt opening and closing roof
L - shaped bracket for easy fixing of runners to wood or steel frames
Optional guttering for rain water collection at sides, front and back

Roof Configurations

The Ashelta Retractable Roof can be configured in multiple different ways to fit your space and needs. See our Technical Specification brochure for more details here or talk us to discuss which option is best for you. The maximum dimensions for the 2 Runner Ashelta Roof is 5m wide by 9m projection. The maximum dimensions for the 4 Runner Ashelta Roof is 13m and 9m projection. All roofs can be used in modular configurations for even larger projects.

Flat.

Constructed with the unique curved fabric support profiles, the Flat Ashelta Roof has a maximum drop of 25cm from the underside of the runner and the maximum fabric length between support tubes is 50cm.
Flat With Spacers.

Constructed with the unique curved fabric support profiles, the Flat With Spacers Ashelta Roof has a maximum drop of 35cm from the underside of the runner and the maximum fabric length between support tubes is 50cm.
Sloped.

Constructed with the unique fabric support profiles, the Sloped Ashelta Roof has a maximum drop of approximately 30cm from the underside of the runner. The maximum fabric length between support tubes is 60cm. The roof needs to be installed at minimum angle of 8 degrees from the perpendicular.

Accessories

There are many optional accessories that can be used to customise and protect the Ashelta Retractable Roof. Seamlessly integrate LED lighting or add a range of weather sensors. LED Lights

LED Lights system; White or RBG can be integrated into fabric-holding tubes available as kit standard and custom.
Remote Controls

Additional Remote Controls can be purchased for your Ashelta Roof system. With the options of Single Channel, 10 Channel and Remote Wall Switch options.
Weather Sensors

Rain and Wind/Sun sensors can be added on to your Ashelta Retractable Roof. Use to monitor weather conditions to maintain your Roof’s conditions.
Frame Support Brackets

Allow 2 brackets (1 per runner) per metre projection. For example a 8m projection requires a total of 16 brackets.
Add-On Intermediate Support Tube

Complete fabric support tube with end caps, joints (where present) and intermediate sliders.
Add-On Runner

Ashelta Runner complete with sliders, support tube joints, central transmission shaft with bushings.
Anti-drop System (Sloped versions)

Weldable PVC profile on the upper part of the fabric for lateral rainwater prevention.
Crossbar

Aluminium profile and accessories to be fixed to self-supporting drive or, in addition, to support the protection cover.
Anti-spray Profile

PVC profile pressed on the lateral side of the runner for retention of rainwater spray. Always in addition to the anti drop system.
Underside Drip-Collection Rim (Flat Versions)

Welded PVC profile on the underside of the fabric. Only for fabrics in the suggested configuration.
Awning Protection Cover

Possibility to require modular awning protection cover.
